Ms Suki is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (B.C.B.A.) with over 17 years of experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental and educational needs. Specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Suki works closely with children, families, and schools to develop individualized programs that promote meaningful progress and long-term success.
Suki completed her Master of Applied Behavior Analysis from Saint Cloud State University, United States, after holding a Master of Arts in Social Work with a specialization in Family-Centered Practice and Family Therapy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, graduating with distinction. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honours from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. In her commitment to lifelong learning and holistic development, Suki is currently pursuing certifications in Child-Centered Play Therapy and Practical Singing Bowl Healing.
Since Suki has worked as a Behaviour Analyst, delivering tailored ABA interventions to children aged 2.5 to 14 years. Her approach integrates a variety of evidence-based techniques, including:
Discrete Trial Training (DTT): Breaking down skills into small, manageable steps with systematic reinforcement to build foundational abilities.
Natural Environment Teaching (NET): Embedding learning opportunities into everyday activities to increase generalization of skills.
Social Stories & Teaching Interaction: Using structured narratives and guided role-plays to teach social norms, emotional understanding, and appropriate behaviors.
Play-Based Learning: Incorporating play into therapy sessions to develop language, communication, and social skills while maintaining motivation and engagement.
Behavioral Skills Training (BST): Teaching caregivers step-by-step intervention strategies through instruction, modeling, role-play, and feedback.
Suki’s work spans diverse areas, including social skills, communication, emotional regulation, academic readiness, self-help skills (e.g., toileting, eating), and reducing problem behaviors. She also provides in-school ABA support through shadowing and pull-out therapy sessions, facilitating skill development in real-time classroom settings.
Equally dedicated to empowering families, Suki conducts consultations and training for parents and caregivers, equipping them with practical ABA tools to support their children’s development outside of therapy sessions. She believes in creating collaborative partnerships to ensure children achieve their full potential across all areas of life.
