Vivian Wong Barrett

Occupational Therapist

Vivian Wong Barrett was born in Hong Kong and grew up in the UK. She has over 20 years’ experience as an occupational therapist (MA, BSc Hons). Since returning to Hong Kong over a decade ago, she has worked for NGOs, international schools, and private clinics.

She is fully trained in Bobath Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Sensory Integration and Praxi Test (SIPT), Therapeutic Listening (TL), Forbrain, and Oral-Motor Treatment.

While in the UK, Vivian worked in the London National Health Service and Social Services. She saw clients in various clinical, mental health, pediatric, neurology, in-hospital (ICU), and outpatient (school and home) settings.

She was involved in developing many now-popular services in the UK, including early years support (from early detection of high-risk pregnancy cases, to hospital discharge, and home and school support), risk management for high-risk pregnancy through joint support of midwifery and health visitors, and child development teams (CDT) to identify at-risk children and support special needs clients and their families in school and at home.

Vivian is fluent in English and Cantonese.
